Camisha Green received her degree in Paralegal Studies in November 2001 from Ashworth College and began her career working for private law offices in the Lawton-Fort Sill area. During that time, Ms. Green worked in various areas of the law to include criminal, workers’ compensation, and personal injury; however, the predominate area has always been Family law.
In 2014, she moved to Oklahoma City where she began working for the organization the Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, Inc. (LASO). Ms. Green worked extensively in Family law but also assisted with Bankruptcy and Housing matters. While at LASO, Ms. Green received victim assistance training through the Office of Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center to work with domestic violence survivors as an advocate and was honored with being part of the first team to work in the family justice center One Safe Place located in Shawnee Oklahoma. Ms. Green went on to train and become a certified Forensic Interviewer trained through CHILDFIRST-Finding Words-Oklahoma and has recently expanded her professional portfolio becoming TEFL certified to teach English as a Foreign Language. She has worked for the State of Oklahoma as a Docket Clerk II with the Office of Administrative Hearings-Child Support and very briefly with General Counsel-Legal Services for the Department of Human Services. Although Ms. Green has worked in other areas of the law, she has always been drawn back to Family law due to her passion for women's rights and empowerment, and her love of the law.
