Today, @lowak and I had the joy of gifting a $5,000 scholarship from Mazaheri Law Firm and a William & Lauren Custom Suit to Yovana Lopez Medina, the winner of our annual Suited for Social Justice Program. Yovana has shown her passion for social justice in the Latino community and has a bright future as an Oklahoma lawyer. Yovana, we are so proud of what you represent and look forward to seeing how you give back to our community!

Mazaheri Law Firm, Maz Modern, and William & Lauren are proud to announce the winner of the Suited for Social Justice Scholarship and custom suit by William & Lauren is Charlie DeWitt. A couple of months ago, we received over 40 applications of impressive new law grads that wanted to make a difference in our Oklahoma community with their degrees, but Charlie’s, to us, stood out as one we’ve picked to pay it forward. Charlie is a 2020 graduate from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. Today, as a juvenile prosecutor in Oklahoma Charlie is working daily to advocate for the safety and well-being of every child in Oklahoma. She has a heart for fostering change and a belief that through second chances and providing resources for juvenile’s in the system so they can be set on a path for a prosperous future.

A quote from Charlie really highlights this. “I believe children are the most valuable resources Oklahoma has. It is up to us to decide how well we want to take care of those resources, and I intend to remain on the front lines of advocating for children every day in my job as a Prosecutor”
